Step 1: Start by sketching the basic outline of an open book. Create two curved lines for the pages, connecting at the centre, Keep it simple.
Step 2: Draw another curved line underneath the original to create the book’s spine and thickness. This gives your book a realistic look and neatness.
Step 3: Draw the top, sides, and baselines of the open book’s pages, creating a smooth curved outline for the open book’s shape. Keep lines soft and natural.
Step 4: Add detailed curved lines along the sides of the book pages to create texture. Make each page distinct, emphasizing the book’s open structure and depth.
Step 5: Draw the book’s rectangular base underneath the open pages, adding support to the structure. Ensure the book appears grounded by clean, straight lines for the base.
step 6: Now highlight by adding the book’s thickness and stacked effect for a realistic look.
Step 7: Finish your drawing by shading the book’s pages and covers to add depth. Focus on shadows under the book and along the page edges for a more realistic look.
